Subscription Terms & Conditions
Your subscription contract for Rhythm Magazine is fulfilled by Beats Network Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under registered number 13009662 whose registered office is at Beats Network Ltd, 34 Westway, Caterham, Surrey, CR3 5TP, United Kingdom, together with its agents and sub-contractors.
If placing your order online when you click "Pay" you will either see a page or receive an email if you have supplied your email address acknowledging that your order has been received successfully and is being processed, the contract between us is not formed at this point. A legally binding contract is formed on the date we send you confirmation of your order, usually within 24 hours, via the email address you provided (if purchase is made over the weekend or on a bank holiday, that may extend to 72 hours).
We will not be responsible if you fail to receive the email confirmation because you have supplied us with an incorrect email address. We reserve the right not to accept or process your order for any reason. All orders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your payment card issuer. If we do not accept your order and your credit/debit card has already been debited, we will notify you and refund your card in full immediately.
By subscribing to Rhythm magazine, you are automatically opted-in to receive the free Rhythm email newsletter which is sent out approximately once a month. Should you wish to opt-out of the e-newsletter you are entitled to do so at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained within the email. Opting out of the free email newsletter does not alter any of the subscription terms and conditions. If you choose not to renew your subscription or if you cancel your subscription, you will continue to receive the free email newsletter unless you opt out at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link.
Your digital subscription contract for Rhythm Magazine is fulfilled by Zinio, a Naviga company which is an international software development company with offices in London. Zinio runs and manages the subscription and is responsible for the Rhythm app and all customer service relating to the digital subscription.
Rhythm Magazine is published 10 times a year, and an annual subscription length is for 10 issues. If the magazine ordered changes frequency per annum, we will honour the number of issues paid for.
If you have ordered a subscription for someone else, you may request a gift card to be sent to you to pass on to the gift recipient. Once you‘ve placed your gift order, an acknowledgement email will be sent within 72 hours to the email address provided when you placed the order. Please allow up to six weeks for delivery of the first subscription issue for both UK and overseas orders.
We reserve the right not to fulfil orders or to cancel orders:
- In the event of obvious inaccuracies in prices, except that we may fulfil your order at the correct price;
- If we are unable to obtain payment authorisation from the issuer of your payment card.
You will receive all issues specified in the applicable offer (e.g., 10 issues for a 1-year subscription).
To ensure you don’t miss any issues, we will contact you before the expiry date of your subscription to remind you to renew to ensure you receive an uninterrupted service .
As part of your subscription agreement and regardless of your marketing communication preferences, Beats Network Ltd will contact you up to 3 months after expiry with renewal reminders – we can backdate any missed issues where possible if you request this in writing.
New Subscription Offers
Subscription offers open to new subscribers only. Please allow up to six weeks for delivery of your first subscription issue. If the magazine ordered changes frequency per annum, we will honour the number of issues paid for, not the term of the subscription.
If the subscription offer includes a welcome gift, this gift is subject to availability and will be delivered separately within 28 days after your first payment has been taken. Beats Network Ltd reserves the right to supply an alternative gift of the same value. Gifts only available to subscribers on the UK mainland.
We will deliver the magazines to the address you notify to us when you place your orders. You may update or change the delivery address at any point in your subscription, but we will not be held responsible for past issues going to an old address if you have not alerted us in writing of the new address.
Subscriptions will start with the next available issue, please allow up to six weeks for delivery. You agree that we will not be responsible for failure to deliver the magazines if you have supplied us with an incorrect address. We reserve the right to dispose of incorrectly addressed envelopes and their contents without an obligation to refund you or any other person if they are returned to us and despite efforts to contact you we do not receive correct address details.
We will not be liable to you for any delay in delivery or non-delivery of magazines in the following circumstances:
- Where the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us;
- Where such delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our control or the control of our sub–contractors and agents, including but not restricted to war, electricity power failure, utilities failure, failure of telecommunications links, failure of transport infrastructure, fire, flood, government act, act of God, legislative constraints, strikes, labour disputes or malicious damage involving employees.
Our liability to you in the event of magazines being lost in despatch shall at our discretion, be limited either to replacement of the missing issues or refund of the cost of the missing issues, to the extent permitted by law we exclude all other liability to you. Our exclusions of liability shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of any of our employees or agents. These Terms and Conditions do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Cancellations and Refunds
Where a minimum term of 12 months is advertised, e.g., 1-year subscription, cancellations are not permitted until the end of this initial period, and we will not issue you a refund. Should you wish to cancel after the minimum term, please contact our customer services team in writing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that all credit card refunds will be issued in Pounds Sterling. Your credit card company will convert the sterling amount into your local currency and may charge an additional fee for completing the transaction.
Beats Network Ltd may cancel a subscription and provide a pro rata refund if it ceases to publish the title for any reason. Magazine subscription prices vary from time to time and any difference in price cannot be released as a cash payment, nor will Beats Network Ltd be liable for refunding the difference between the subscription price you paid and a discounted offer advertised after you bought your subscription.
Prices displayed on the subscriptions section of the website will prevail at all times in relation to orders placed online. Prices quoted on screen include delivery charges and taxes (where applicable) and are paid via a one-off payment for a 10-issue subscription.
Although we try to ensure that all prices are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of your order, we will inform you as soon as possible. You will have the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. We will refund you in full if you cancel the order and have already paid.
If you are under 18 or are not using your own credit card to pay for the subscription, you must ask the permission of the credit card holder before entering the payment details. By clicking "Pay" you are confirming that you have obtained the express prior permission of the credit card holder.
Cashback is not available on titles published by Beats Network Ltd.
Covermounts and Prize Draws
If any of our magazines are put on sale in the UK and contain a covermount gift or supplement you are not entitled as a subscriber to receive these covermounts or supplements. Occasionally, some subscriber copies may be sent with covermounts and supplements included, however this is the exception rather than the rule. If you wish to guarantee your receipt of any covermount you should purchase an additional copy of the magazine from your local retailer.
Digital-only subscriptions will not receive supplements or covermounts. Magazines delivered to overseas addresses will not contain covermount gifts or supplements.
Prize Draw and Competition Rules
All prize draws and competitions which are associated with our magazine subscription offers are subject to separate terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, such prize draws and competitions are only open to you if you are able to supply us with a billing address in the UK.
We use the personal and transactional information (e.g., name, address, email address, credit card number) you supply to us in order to fulfil your subscription order.
We will not be liable to you for any losses you may suffer as a result of unauthorised access by a third party to the information (including in particular credit card details) you transmit when you place an order. It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your own payment card details to avoid unauthorised use.
Payment is transacted using PayPal.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. You hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based.
These Terms and Conditions override any contrary terms or conditions published by us in relation to any order placed by you with us.
